WORD about town has it that the South Australian Film Corp is pitching to get a major film starring Hollywood tween star Miley Cyrus to be filmed here.

While details are shady at this time, I hear that if the pitch is successful the film could be shot at the end of the year or in early 2013.

Miley famously visited Adelaide on her world tour last year when she met fans at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. The last time she was here, Miley also reportedly spent a lengthy visit at a solarium to top up her tan.

Rumors have been flying about a LOL release date. We have gotten stills, a trailer… and the movie even came out in India… but still no release date! A fan asked Tanz Watson when the movie was coming out in the US.. and he said Spring 12′!

Miley‘s So Undercover co-star Megan Park talked about the filming of the movie with Miley and Kelly Osbourne in a recent interview. Check it out below:

“I do [have a future film coming with Miley Cyrus] called So Undercover.That was probably the most fun four months of my entire life. We had too much fun. I look back I’m like, did we make a movie? Oh, yeah. I forgot because we just had so much fun the whole time. It was great. We were in such a magical city and to be there for that long and working with Miley and Kelly Osborne and Eloise Mumford. It was basically just all girls all the time. There was an actor Josh Bowman who is in it but he only came at the end so basically it was just a bunch of girls by ourselves the whole time. We all were staying together and we went to sorority boot camp because we’re in a sorority but the real sorority up in Baton Rouge, and we had so much fun. It did not seem like work, and by the time it was all over I couldn’t believe that we made a movie because we had so much fun. But we did so hopefully, people like the movie too.”

The official trailer for Miley’s upcoming movie ‘LOL: Laughing Out Loud’ finally got released! The movie’s release dates for the US especially are still not confirmed but some people say end of May. Check out the video above, it looks like such a fun movie, we can’t wait to go and see it!!

Exclusive Story: Miley Cyrus‘ “L.O.L.” remake film, co-starring Ashley Greene and Demi More is probably one of the most anticipated movies of 2012.

The ‘L.O.L.‘ remake is based on the original french film with same title. It’s based on teen named Lola, played by Cyrus, her & her friends navigate the peer pressures of high school romance and friendship while dodging their sometimes overbearing and confused parents.

The remake, directed & screenplay written by  Lisa Azuelos, was set to come out as early as mid-2011. The film, was delayed for international release for multiple reasons; one of them is due to scandal.

Starting with private screeners in the U.K., the film was immediately pulled before it hit public theaters worldwide after the Miley Cyrusbong-smoke scandal — even though the scandal was just the boost the film needed.. The producers had second thoughts about a scene in the film where you can see Miley‘s character, Lola smoking with her friends (Ashley Greene & others).. quickly demanding a re-edit and cut the scene out to not spark another controversy when the film comes out.

After many speculated dates, what gives? Why isn’t there an official date yet? Why the major delay?

Well, too put it nicely, Lionsgate is running low on funds. The company who took part in making the movie can’t afford promo for the movie, so they’re putting it on hold for a while. The company is counting on “The Hunger Games“, co-starring Miley’s boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth. The film that’s based on the series of books with the huge franchise to support, will give Lionsgate just the boost it needs to support “L.O.L.”.

Despite the fact that many people are supposedly confirming dates, they’re probably false. The film, will most likely hit theaters worldwide sometime after March.

According to this french article the Parisian rock group BB Brunes will appear on the LOL Soundtrack. The song that will be featured is titled “Cul et Chemise”, and is a french adaptation of the song “Alright” by the British rock band Supergrass.

Another article states that LOL will be relased in France on June 20, 2012.

Bolt might be the kind of film that Disney-Pixar wished they’d made instead of Cars 2. Although this summer’s automotive sequel was by no means a lemon, it didn’t rev up the Cars franchise in the way that either of the studios probably wanted. Bolt, on the other hand, has the hallmarks of Pixar but doesn’t carry that company’s name in its credits. It continues to delight several years after its initial release thanks to an action-packed plot, clever script and delightfully OTT performances.

One of eight features that Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released on Blu-ray 3D this month, Bolt is one of the best of the bunch (read on below for more on the others). Originally released by Disney in 2008, the tale of a pup who thinks he is a superdog when in fact he just plays one in a TV series has found favor with both critics and audiences. Indeed, it might have won Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards had it not been for WALL-E. Yet, it is one of the studios less remembered titles perhaps because it doesn’t carry the added weight afforded by the name of Pixar.

At its outset Bolt is reminiscent of The Incredibles and, ironically, Cars 2. The film opens with Bolt attempting to keep his ‘person,’ a young girl called Penny, out of the clutches of the Green-Eyed Man. In the process the pair evades masked villains on motorbikes who have electrified gloves and are backed up by a fleet of heavily-armed helicopters. There are guns, explosions and a suggestion of death. It’s not the sort of thing Disney is famous for from its fairy tale days.
